There are only 2 million people in the huge state of WA- and 90% of them live in and around Perth. To give you an idea of how empty that is: Texas has a population of about 25 million- on land 1/4 the size of WA.
I had no idea Australia was so huge! Not to mention the fact that there is so much vast, open land around Perth! :)
ReplyDeleteI hope - and am sure! - you are still having fun! Do you have a nice little Australian tan yet? Are you still enjoying your classes? It actually hit 60 in Boston on Friday when we were headed down, which temporarily abated my jealousy over your weather-luck! haha!

ReplyDeleteClasses are pretty good but each of mine is only once a week, so it barely feels like I have any. No I don't think any Aussies have ever been confused with what I said, but they have all of our tv shows, movies, and music over here so they probably won't. It's mostly me being confused by what they say! haha
